Happy New Year! The most popular goal in January is to eat healthier, so I’m here to help with over 75 healthy dinner ideas! Eating healthier often isn’t a lack of motivation but a lack of ideas and therefore a lack of planning. These FLAVORFUL, healthy dinner ideas will not only help you maintain your New Year’s resolution but get you excited about dinnertime!
Now just a quick note before we dive in – my recipes are meant to be family friendly and don’t follow any specific dietary plan. In this roundup, I’ve included recipes that don’t need much or any adaptations to make them “healthier” but you can ALWAYS adapt my other recipes not included here. Some simply healthy swaps would be using ground turkey instead of ground beef or Italian sausage (plus 1 TBS beef bouillon), using turkey bacon instead of bacon, using Greek yogurt instead of sour cream or mayonnaise, using evaporated milk instead of heavy cream, or spaghetti squash or zoodles instead of pasta.

In Boston Ground Chicken and Chicken Italian Sausage are now available. Ground chicken isn’t all that flavorful, so it can using kicking up with lot’s of seasonings. A good choice for Taco Burger, or Spaghetti Bolognese or any spicy cuisine dishes, where you wish to lower the fat content. Lot’s of great recipes here, although I have to lower the sodium for medical reasons. All part of living healthier.
