Obsessive worthy sticky, sweet heat Grilled Honey Sriracha Orange Chicken needs to go on your “TO MAKE NOW” list because it is guaranteed to become one of your favorite meals ever!
I have been wanting to post Baked Chinese Orange Chicken for a while, but it being summer and all, I just couldn’t stay away from my grill. And I’m so glad I gave into its siren calls.
This incredible juicy chicken is marinated then glazed in s a harmonious concoction of orange juice, orange marmalade, honey, and splashes of lemon juice, sriracha, hoisin sauce (like Asian BBQ sauce), ginger, garlic, etc. Mmmmmmm…..Can you taste it now?!

I love orange chicken. I think the idea of putting sriracha in it is brilliant.

I made this honey siriracha orange chicken for a family gathering this weekend. It was a big hit! Thank you so much. I served it over rice at our gathering for others but I chose to dice the chicken, throw in a salad using a small amount of the sauce for the salad dressing. So delicious and flavorful any way you serve it! So impressed how you threw all these ingredients together to come out with a super recipe. Thank you also for the guidance about the hoisin sauce. I was delighted to discover my very small town grocery store had the Lee Kum Kee brand. Without thinking, I tasted it before adding. It was sweet and good. Then I read the ingredients list and was “grossed out” (fermented soybean paste – ugh!) and wished I hadn’t so quickly tasted. ๐

Hi Sheila! So happy you enjoyed this recipe and I LOVE your salad version! I am going to have to borrow that sometime! As far as far as hoisin ingredients – I have never even read them before – now I am going to try and forget ๐

Hi! I did not find orange marmalade, would it be good with Apricot? Can’t wait to try your recipe!!
Jen says
Hi Alexandra, I have not tried it with apricot so it is hard to say but I think apricot preserves are sweeter and don’t have the same orange tang that orange marmalade does. You can try it but will need to adjust for the sweeter apricot – possibly more orange juice. Hope this helps!
